Rare 2nd Post on Wednesday!

I am alone in these feelings or do others feel this way too? I am so very sick of people. I am sick of ungrateful bitchy kids, I am sick of rude and obnoxious people, who seem to be everywhere, I am sick of poor customer service, I am sick of being pushed back to 4 on a list of 3 by those close to me. I am sick of being forced to listen to idiots on their cellphones who carry on personal conversations in public places and who apparently don't know there is a microphone inside of the phone. I am just sick of being tired and I am tired of being sick. I am sick and tired of everyone thinking everything is ok. It is not ok, it isn't ok to be a bitch to your Mom, it isn't ok to ignore your wife, it isn't ok to talk over people in a work environment, it isn't ok to pretend not to see me when I am clearly waiting for your assistance in the store, it isn't ok to try to get a Doctor's appointment only to be put off for 60 days. It isn't ok to carry on a teleconference in a restaurant while I am just trying to eat my side salad. What the hell is wrong with people anymore. UGH - I think I need a vacation, some alone time. Oh no, I go back to work in 12 days. It is to late to go anywhere now. Plus I have an appointment to color my grays and you know she wouldn't be able to be flexible and squeeze me (a good tipping customer) in at another time. Oh heck no, I would have to wait another 5 weeks.
I try to keep my blog positive and inspiring. But as of right now, I am sick and tired of BS and I wanted someone to know! Thanks for listening, tell me how you feel if it makes you feel better!
Now, back to trying to be positive and planning a short trip, after the 14th of course ;-)

  1. I am amazed, has someone else taken over your blog? While the pissed-off person has control, I'll add my own issues: I am sick and tired of companies taking advantage of their customers because they are big and the customers are small and there's no real recourse. (Yes I'm talking about my cable company again.) I'm sick and tired of doctors too, I started making my appointments for the first thing in the morning so she wouldn't be "running late", well guess what? She arrives at the office 45 minutes late every day, so it's not her patients' fault after all.
I'm right there with you on the cell phone thing and the work environment. I just start laughing (LOUDLY) when I see people acting like that.
It sure makes me grateful for the rare occasions when I have a good experience or a positive business transaction. Hope things start looking up for you soon!

    1. Hi Gina and welcome! So sorry you visited on the one day that I "let loose". You know that old saying, "you never have a second chance to make a first impression". I hope you will give me a second chance! I honestly really do keep everything pretty upbeat and fun! Thanks for the warm wishes! Thanks again for stopping by!

  3. And another new reader here..........but you and I are on the save wavelength on may "sick of" things........the people in this world who think everything revolves around them - - I've had ENOUGH of them. ENOUGH! If I hear one more LOUD yakker on a phone I'm going to go freaking nutso on them. Why in the hell do they think everyone around them wants to listen to them YAK about NOTHING!! Do they really know how stupid they sound and look? This whole technology thing has gone waaaaaaaaay too far for me and I can't take much more of it. And oh, by the way, I am ALMOST 50!! ;-) Hang in there.....find yourself a desert island somewhere and unwind! Try St. John in the USVI - one of my most favorite relaxing places.

    1. Susie- welcome and I am so glad you stopped by. I am sorry you stopped by on the one day that I "let loose" but I am so happy that you understand and that you share my same sentiments. Isn't it amazing how very rude people are anymore?! I agree the technology has gotten out of control and it is such a detriment in raising teenagers. I love St Johns too! St. Barts is my favorite. "Baron" came home and said we would go someplace before I go back to school. I think for a short trip I can hear The Cape calling ;-) Thanks again for stopping by, I hope you will return many times!!!

  5. Wow, you hit a chord w/ me too. I had a horrible day yesterday and just wanted to hibernate today. I don't want to deal w/ anyone or have anyone ask me to do anything. It feels so selfish, but it also feels necessary. People are just at their worst sometimes (including me), but it seems once in awhile, EVERYBODY you meet is a problem. I'm glad you vented...I swear it help! Here's to a better day for all of us tomorrow!
