Belly Blasting Smoothie

I don't know about the rest of you, but I am NOT really appreciating my growing tummy. I do all the right exercises, I do Pilates and still I struggle. Last summer I was fixated on the "Belly Blasting Smoothie" recipe that I found in a magazine in my Doctor's office. After spending time in Florida and enjoying the fresh fruit smoothies I have decided to start making them at home again. Here is the recipe if you would like to give it a try. I feel like it is a great start for the day! Happy Tuesday!


Blend-
1/4 cup low fat vanilla yogurt
1/2 cup 1% skim milk
1 tsp. peanut butter
1/2 cup berries
1 teaspoon Whey protein
3 ice cubes (crushed)
Whip until smooth and enjoy!

  1. Oh, that looks so delicious! I do love smoothies, although I tend to just blend up whatever fruit and dairy I have in the fridge.
    The belly bulge is quite a mystery, isn't it? I am in constant amazement at the strange new forms my body takes. What will it do next?

    1. The changes are just scary. Sometimes I think if I could turn my head around I would have a perfect body because currently I have a flat bottom and a round tummy :-)
