It is oceanfront and to read about it, well, it sounds delightful. I haven't been to Maine, but I have always wanted to visit. Friends who live in Portland tell me that Kennebunkport is over run with tourist. But after reading about "The Beach House" I am willing to give Kennebunkport a try! You can read about it at

I've been there a couple of times. When I've been in Portland,I just drove down there for the day. It is overrun with tourist but well worth spending time there. I went out on the Schooner Elinor. It was fun. Allison's is my favorite place to eat. Delicious baby Maine shrimp and wild blueberry pie. I am a big fan of Lovell Designs jewelry and they have a store there. It is either next door to Allison's or a couple of doors down. You need to check it out.
